Dogs are pack animals and domestic dogs like to be around their human family, and do not enjoy being left alone for long periods of time. Certain dogs cope better with it, while others will develope issues such as separation anxiety, become destructive in the home, get bored, and may even urinate in the home.
Dog day care is ideal for owners who work all day away from home and who don't like to leave their dogs on their own, and it is a better alternative to someone coming in to walk the dog and then leaves.
When your dog is in our care, he or she will spend the day with us and not be lonely. He or she will get exercise and enjoy long walks in the park, on the Thames path or down by the canal. We sometimes stop off in a dog friendly cafe or pub for lunch before coming back to my home for the rest of the day.
The schedule varies from day to day, in order to keep your dog stimulated and avoid boredom from a same routine.
While in our care your dog will also be fed, have a place to sleep, be entertained through play, and have the opportunity to socialise and play with other dogs in my care.
I am happy to collect your dog from your home in the morning and return him or her, saving you valuable time.
To attend our day care, dogs are required to be up to date with their annual vaccinations and kennel cough vaccine. You can obtain a free copy of your dog's vaccination card from your vet if you've misplaced it.
